Tiémoue Bakayoko who plays for Premier League giants Chelsea has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Manchester United who are said to have contacted the Blues.
Manchester United are now expected to go into transfer tussle with French club Paris-Saint-Germain who are looking for the signature of Bakayoko.
Last season, Bakayoko played for AC Milan on loan and there were reports that the Italian club also wanted his signature on a permanent basis.
His contract at Chelsea will expire in June 2022, and according to RMC Sport, Manchester United will be the only obstacle to block PSG from having Bakayoko.
After failing to win any title last season coupled with their inability to qualify for next season's Champions League, Manchester United boss Ole Solskjaer is bolstering his team.
Solskjaer is facing battle to keep France international Paul Pogba who could be on his way to Real Madrid or Juventus this summer.
And the Norwegian is now reportedly planning to make Bakayoko a replacement should Pogba decides to leave.
Meanwhile, Bakayoko has returned to Chelsea for pre-season and he is expected to meet new Chelsea manager Frank Lampard over talks on his future.

Source-Arsenal are in competition with Man Utd according to RMC Sport for Bakayoko.
